PROFILE: GROUP

NEKO TRIBE: RIVER WALKERS

LOCATION: across river east of Miragia Forrest near where it meets the Jewel River

APPERANCE: All neko members of the river walkers tribe have blue tails and ears, the shade and type of blue varies but its blue. Average height is about 6'1” for females  and 6'2.5” for males(like anyone cares about them). Their claws are normally between .5-1” long(retractable of course). Tails average 3'6” and ears average 3”. Ears are not counted in height.

ABILITYS: The River Walkers neko tribe is a tribe unlike most other neko tribes. The nekos in the tribe are unlike most other nekos in the fact that they don't hate getting wet. Members of the tribe also have the ability to stand walk or run on water at will, they don't have to if they don't want to but they will automatically if they are not thinking about it. They also have the ability to stay under water for extended periods of time, though they must go up for air about every 5-10 minutes depending on the neko in question. These abilities are given to them by other members of the tribe about a month after their birth. At age 15 they are taught how to give the ability to others though not all of them are able to learn it about 10% of them are able to learn it. It has been noted that the ability to learn it runs in families and may be genetic.

FRIENDS: The tribes survival in the hostile environment they are located is due to one major factor, the fairy Disuki. When Disuki was young she was injured in the wilderness and the river walkers tribe had been nice enough to save her. The idea of saving her was not liked by many of the tribe but the tribes elders had made their decision. After Disuki was saved by them she made a vow to protect them for what they had done. Shortly there after Disuki was able to save the tribe by convincing a blond naga that there was not anything good to eat in the area. One of the tribes sentries saw this and reported it to the elders after which she was made an honorary tribe member where they gave her their special abilitys and placed their tribes mark on her left shoulder. After an incident with the other faeries Disuki came to live in the village full time leaving occasionally to visit friends. At which point the village became a very well guarded place.

Having a faerie in the village has lead to some other unusual friendships including some harpies, mermaids, nagas, and dryads although they do not have the vow to defend the tribe. They do not eat the tribe members(after all they would not eat their friends friends). It should be noted that Anko is not on the list of friendly mermaids and frequently chases the tribe members that go over the water she is in though their abilities let them escape a lot of the time, they are not always so lucky.


OH SHI--

Recently the village was attacked and destroyed by dridders (fucking dridders thats so like them). It is believed that some of the members were able to escape across the river where the dridders did not follow, Anko happened to be in the area at the time and cut the numbers of escapees by a large margin.





There are currently 20 survivors of the 175 that belong to the tribe.
Members of the tribe include all species that are considered members by the tribe not just the neko ones
12 are free to use just tell me so I can update this (you can kill yours as long as they actually have a story and are not just used as brief food characters, aka make it interesting)
8 are mine for my use only (this may change if I decide I don't need them)
